The Talon was purpose-built to bring the lightweight features of the Backcountry 2.0 family into the Vanguard line-up. It features Peak 44’s Blacktooth carbon fiber stock which weighs only 19oz making it one of the lightest production stocks on the market. Compared to other Vanguards the Talon cuts out over a full pound of weight and starts at 6.2lbs. Equipped with an Accubreak and 3D Hex Recoil pad, the Talon manages recoil extremely well even with Weatherby’s historic magnum cartridges.
